ILS Adds Eugene Kang to Its Corporate and M&A Practice

Innovative Legal Services (ILS) is pleased to welcome Eugene Kang as a new member of our Corporate & Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Practice.

Eugene advises emerging growth companies, venture capital funds, and strategic investors on a wide range of corporate matters, including early- and late-stage venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, and joint ventures. His practice focuses particularly on the technology sector, and he has represented both U.S. and international clients in complex cross-border transactions.

Drawing on several years at leading U.S. international law firms, Eugene serves as outside counsel to startup founders and venture investors throughout the corporate life-cycle. His work begins with entity formation and cross-border “flip” restructurings, continues through Series Seed and later-stage equity financings, and culminates in negotiated M&A exits. Between transactions, he oversees day-to-day governance—preparing board and stockholder actions, structuring equity incentive plans, and negotiating key commercial agreements such as MSAs—ensuring clients remain deal-ready at every stage.
