Yuzhi (Muriel) Wang
Law Clerk
Muriel focuses her practice on business immigration, and is highly experienced in employment-based petitions, including L-1 (and Blanket L), EB-1C, PERM, and H-1B, as well as individual petitions such as EB-1A and NIW. Her practice also encompasses E-2 and family-based immigration matters, and she is particularly skilled in handling sophisticated Requests for Evidence (RFE) cases.
Prior to joining ILS, Muriel built her immigration practice at leading law firms in the United States. Most recently, she worked at an Am Law 200 firm, where she represented major U.S. and Chinese companies across a wide range of industries—including manufacturing and financial services—in complex, high-stakes immigration matters.
Before settling in the United States, Muriel practiced at one of China’s most prestigious law firms, advising on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, and corporate compliance. This strong corporate law foundation enables her to approach business immigration strategically, aligning immigration solutions with a company’s broader commercial and operational objectives.
Muriel is also deeply committed to advancing international business and community engagement. She serves as Vice President of Membership for the Greater Cleveland Chinese Chamber of Commerce, where she supports communication and coordination among more than 100 member organizations, helping to foster cross-border business and cultural exchange.
