Shujie focuses her practice on employment law and general corporate matters, with experience advising clients on offer letters, employment contracts, employee handbooks, confidentiality arrangements, workplace investigations, employment disputes, personal information protection and data compliance. She regularly assists clients with employment documentation, internal policies, compliance reviews and dispute-related matters. She also works with transaction teams on general corporate issues, including contract reviews, due diligence, restructuring-related matters and other corporate governance support.

Prior to joining ILS, Shujie worked at leading PRC law firms, where she advised multinational companies, listed companies and other corporate clients across the life sciences, technology, financial services, real estate and other industrial sectors. She also completed a secondment to the legal department of a major multinational pharmaceutical company, where she supported procurement contract review, anti-bribery compliance, corporate filings, corporate records maintenance and internal policy updates.
